This is a wonderful hand crafted sterling cuff bracelet by Esther Lewittes who began making modernist jewelry in the 1950’s and sold in such stores as Georg Jensen and Nanny’s in San Francisco. This bracelet is featured in "MODERNIST JEWELRY 1930-1960, The Wearable Art Movement", by Marbeth Schon. The cuff has very pleasing curves with an applied wire wave design. It brings to mind the ocean with etched lines forming the water and polished finish the sky. The bracelet measures 2 5/8" x 1 5/8" with an inside circumference of about 6 1/2" which includes the 1 3/8" opening, and is about 1 1/4" at the widest point. It is in excellent condition and is signed "Lewittes Hand Made Sterling".

This is a wonderful sterling silver and ebony brooch designed by New York contemporary designer, Patricia Von Musulin. This pin is hand carved from ebony in the form of a stylized swan and inlaid with pave sterling dots that are laboriously hand set. It has a sterling silver back with two pins for stability and measures 3 1/4" high, 1 1/2" wide and 7/8" deep. The pin is fully signed "PVM Von Musulin Sterling 925" together with the Musulin mark. Condition is excellent.

This is a fabulous early Mexican sterling silver mesh bracelet signed Los Castillo, c. 1940s. The bracelet is for a larger sized wrist, with an inside circumference of about 8 3/4" and predates the eagle assay mark. It is heavy - just over 100 grams - and is 1" wide with a box clasp and safety chain. The bracelet is in really excellent condition and is fully signed "Los Castillo, Taxco, Sterling Mexico" and has design no. 715.

This is a lovely pair of sterling silver and pearl screwback earrings by Mikimoto, Japan. They come in the retailer's faux red leather box - Lane Crawford's, Hong Kong. Each earring is set with 6 lustrous pearls about 4mm in diameter. The earrings measure 3/4" x 1/2" and are fully signed with the Mikimoto mark and "silver". They are in really excellent condition and show no signs of having been worn.
