This is an unusual sterling silver serving spoon, c. 19thC. The spoon has a wonderful repousse wave design around the edge of the bowl. It measures 7 1/4" and is in excellent condition. The spoon is marked "50 pat." with a maker's mark in the form of a lion. It is also marked "Sterling.pat." and G.H. Wood which is probably the retailer.
