This is a wonderful pair of sterling silver Mallard cufflinks by Fenwick & Sailors, c. 1950s. F&S was founded in Hollywood after World War II and made high quality men's sterling jewelry which became popular with actors and sports stars. These cufflinks measure 3/4" x 9/16". They are fully signed "F&S, Sterling" and "Mallard". They are in excellent estate condition with the original gold wash wearing a bit on the back and gone from the front - showing the sterling only.

This is a very fine pair of sterling silver cufflinks by Antonio Pineda, Taxco, Mexico, c. 1960. The cufflinks have an openwork design of a donkey's head over a recessed oxidized silver background. They are fully marked with the Antonio crown together with "Hecho en Mexico, Silver, 970" and the eagle mark with "17" in the center. They measure 7/8"x 3/4", have toggle backs and are in excellent condition.

This is a lovely scalloped bangle bracelet by master Mexican silversmith Hector Aguilar. It is solid 940 silver (higher grade than sterling) and is in excellent condition. The bangle has an inside circumference of 8" and a diameter of 2 5/8" and is a shade under 1/4" wide. It is marked "Taller Borda, 940" together with HA mark and early eagle assay mark with a 9 in the center.

This is a rare Isami Doi ivory and sterling unicorn brooch for Ming's, c. 1940s. The unicorn has a sterling silver horn and sterling studs on the body. Isami Doi (1903-1965) was an important painter, jeweler, metalsmith and printmaker who designed fanciful jewelry for Ming's from 1939 - 1950. The pin is in really excellent condition and measures 2 1/4" x 2". It is fully signed "Ming's Ivory" and "unicorn".

This is a fabulous pair of Japanese silver and gold cufflinks, c. 1900 - 1920. They bear the "Jungin" mark meaning 'pure silver' (950+ high grade silver) used primarily in the Meiji period (1868 - 1912) and for a short while thereafter. They have a raised seahorse in the center swimming amongst gold reeds. The gold tests at least 10k and is probably higher. The cufflinks have a diameter of 3/4" and are in excellent condition. They are also signed on the cross-bar with what is probably a maker's mark - see photo.

This is a wonderful pair of sterling silver and enamel cufflinks, c. 1960s. They are in excellent condition with no loss or damage to the enamel. The faces measure 3/4" x 5/8" and the cufflinks have toggle backs. They are simply marked "Sterling".

This is a rare and really fabulous sterling silver panel bracelet with pin clasp by Fred Davis, Mexico, c. 1930s. The bracelet consists of three panels - each with a cut-out stylized deer design. It has an inside circumference of 7" and is a shade under 2" wide. It is heavy - 107.4 grams - and in excellent condition. The bracelet is fully signed with intertwined "FD" and "925" (i.e. sterling).

This is a wonderful hand crafted sterling cuff bracelet by Esther Lewittes who began making modernist jewelry in the 1950ís and sold in such stores as Georg Jensen and Nannyís in San Francisco. This bracelet is featured in "MODERNIST JEWELRY 1930-1960, The Wearable Art Movement", by Marbeth Schon. The cuff has very pleasing curves with an applied wire wave design. It brings to mind the ocean with etched lines forming the water and polished finish the sky. The bracelet measures 2 5/8" x 1 5/8" with an inside circumference of about 6 1/2" which includes the 1 3/8" opening, and is about 1 1/4" at the widest point. It is in excellent condition and is signed "Lewittes Hand Made Sterling".
