This is a gorgeous Art Nouveau sterling silver belt, c. 1908. The belt consists of engraved openwork links with floral design. The links are all fully hallmarked with the English lion passant (indicating sterling) and date mark for 1908. The buckle also bears the mark for Birmingham and a maker's mark (I.S.G.). The belt is in really outstanding condition, measures 28 3/8" long x 2 5/8" at the widest point and weighs about 5.5 oz.
