This is a very fine sterling silver and obsidian brooch signed Piedra y Plata, c. 1955. The pin is featured on p. 186 of "Mexican Silver" by Morrill and Berk. The pin measures 2 1/4" x 2" and is in excellent condition. It is fully signed "Piedra y Plata, Sterling Taxco" together with the design number.

This is wonderful sterling silver Libra charm signed Margot de Taxco, c. 1950s. Margot made a series of Zodiac charms which can be seen on page 178 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. The charm has a diameter of 1 1/2" and is in excellent condition. It has good weight - 21.7 grams - and is fully signed "Margot de Taxco, Sterling Made in Mexico" together with design no. 5226 and an early eagle assay mark.

This is a stunning sterling silver and onyx "Crescent" bracelet by Antonio Pineda, c. 1950. The bracelet is pictured on p. 143 of Morrill and Berk's book "Mexican Silver". This is a substantial bracelet, weighing 105 grams and measuring 1 3/8" wide with an inside circumference of about 7". The clasp is secure and it has what appears to be the original safety chain. The bracelet is fully hallmarked with the Antonio crown mark, an eagle assay mark with "17" in the center, "970 silver" and "sterling Mexico". The bracelet is in excellent condition with one microscopic fleabite to the onyx, visible with magnification only and very light surface wear to the silver consistent with use. This is a fabulous pair of 970 silver and onyx screwback earrings by Antonio Pineda, c. 1950. The earrings measure 1 5/16" long and are in excellent condition with no chips to the stones. They are fully hallmarked "Sterling Mexico, 970 Silver" on one earring and the Antonio crown mark together with the eagle assay mark that has "17" in the center on the other earring. This is a wonderful pair of Mexican sterling silver and obsidian drop scrrewback earrings by Enrique Ledesma, c. 1950s. The earrings measure 1" long and are 1/2" at the widest point. They are in excellent condition and are fully signed "Ledesma, Hecho en Mexico, Taxco, 925" together with the design no. 270 and eagle assay mark.

This is a fabulous Mexican sterling silver parure consisting of a necklace, bracelet and screwback earrings by Salvador Vaca Teran, c. 1950s. The pieces combine spikes and gears creating a distinctive and unusual design. The necklace measures 15 1/2" long x 7/16" wide and the spike drop is 2 3/4" long x 1 7/8" wide and about 3/4" deep. The bracelet is 8" long and the spike drop 1 1/4" x 1 1/8" x 1/2". The earrings are 1 5/16" long x 3/8" wide. The bracelet is signed lightly - "Salvador" together with the eagle mark, the necklace "Hecho en Mexico, sterling" and the earrings are unmarked (see photos). All pieces are in excellent condition.

This is a fabulous Mexican sterling silver necklace and matching bracelet signed Los Castillo, c. 1950s. The necklace has very good weight (84.7 grams) and measures 16 1/4" long x 1/2 wide; the bracelet is 39.4 grams and measures 7 1/4" x 1/2" - both are in excellent condition and are signed "Los Castillo, Taxco, 925" together with the eagle mark and 15 in the center and design no. 877.
