This is a gorgeous Mexican sterling silver "cornflower" necklace by Margot van Voorhies Carr, c. 1950s. It has a wearable length of 19" and is 5/8" at the widest point and is in excellent condition with very good weight (103.7 grams). The necklace is fully signed "Sterling, Made in Mexico" together with an early eagle assay mark on one earring; and "Margot de Taxco 5316" on the other. See my other items for the matching earrings.

This is a fabulous early Mexican sterling silver bracelet by Los Castillo, c. 1945. It is heavy (53.8 grams) with classic design of silver chain and dangling half spheres with etched circular design. The bracelet has an inside circumference of 6 5/16", is 3/4" wide and the half spheres are 5/16" high. It is in really excellent and original condition with no dings or other damage. It is fully signed "Made in Mexico, Los Castillo, Taxco", together with design no. 711. This bracelet pre-dates the Mexican eagle assay mark which means it was made before 1948.

This is a fabulous sterling silver and black stone bracelet by Los Castillo, c. 1960. The bracelet consists of eight links - each with a domed black stone (obsidian or onyx) with detailed openwork design of two fish holding each stone in place. There is great detail on the fish who appear to be swimming through reeds with tails flipping. The bracelet is in excellent condition and has an inside circumference of 6 5/8". It is 3/4" wide and the domes stand 3/8" high. The bracelet is fully signed "Made in Mexico, Sterling", "Los Castillo, Taxco" and design no. 514 and bears an early eagle mark with the number "1" in the center (see photo).

This is a gorgeous Mexican sterling silver pin with large cabochon amethyst drop by Margot de Taxco, c. 1950s. The pin measures 3 1/4" x 2" and is in excellent condition. It is fully signed "Sterling Made in Mexico", "Margot de Taxco", an early eagle mark with 16 in the center and design no. 5118.
