This is a beautiful Italian silver and hand painted enamel compact, c. 1920s, depicting lovers relaxing in a field. The compact has an enamel malachite border and is in excellent condition. It was made in Florence, Italy and is marked "800" (for 800 silver) and a maker's stamp of what appears to be a pigeon. The back has a gorgeous chased design and the interior is gold washed. The compact comes with the original screen insert and what is probably a replaced mirror.

This is a pair of sterling silver teaspoons by Stieff in their Rose pattern introduced in 1892. The teaspoons measure 6" and are in excellent condition with no monogram. They are marked "Sterling Stieff.d" together with an "H". From "TheSteiffCompany.com" - "The H represented the HEAVY weight silver. The sale of heavy pieces really came to a trickle in the depression. The October 1941 price guide shows Trade weight and medium weight spoons still available." I would assume from this that these teaspoons date to around 1920.
