| This is a wonderful set of Victorian 14k yellow gold mother and daughter brooches, c. 1880. Each pin is set with a single cabochon almandine garnet which forms the center of a flower. The larger brooch has a diameter of 1 1/2" and is 1/2" deep; the smaller brooch has a diameter of 7/8" and is 3/8" deep. The three-dimensional effect doesn't show well in the photos, but they have good depth. Both pins are in excellent condition with the original c-clasp and tube hinge. They are not marked, but test 14k gold. | |||||||||
