| This is a really lovely Victorian 14k gold bracelet with a velvet band and set with a finely carved shell cameo, c. 1890. The gold findings attaching the velvet band have a scroll chased design and the frame of the cameo is also nicely detailed with repousse design. The frame is 1 1/4" wide and the frame with the clasp is 1 7/8" long. The velvet band is 7/8" wide and the bracelet measures 6 3/4". Condition is excellent with a nice tight clasp - there is a tiny split (about 1/16") in the frame, but this is not noticeable and doesn't compromise the setting of the cameo. | |||||||
