| This is a lovely Victorian 9k yellow gold book chain necklace with "slide" and "tassel", c. 1880. The necklace is made to look like a slide and tassel necklace, but the slide is actually the clasp and the tassel is a drop. The clasp is set with three garnets. The necklace measures 17 3/4", the drop is 1 1/8" long and the chain is 3/16" wide. The necklace is in excellent condition with a very tiny chip to one of the garnets being the only damage. | |||||||
