| This is a very fine pair of sterling silver cufflinks by Antonio Pineda, Taxco, Mexico, c. 1960. The cufflinks have an openwork design of a monkey over a recessed oxidized silver background. They are fully marked with the Antonio crown together with "Hecho en Mexico, Silver, 970" and the eagle mark with "17" in the center. They measure 1" by 7/8", have toggle backs and are in excellent condition. | |||||||
