| This is a lovely French majolica oyster plate dating to the late 19th Century. The plate is unsigned, but probably Orchies and is in really excellent condition with no chips or cracks only a couple of glaze flakes. It has an olive green rim with aqua wells, blue ridges and purple tips on the asparagus. The plate has a diameter of 9 7/8" and is simply marked "24" and impressed with "23". | |||||||
