| This is a fabulous sterling silver necklace with drops by Peruzzi, Boston, c. 1930s. The necklace is large and certainly won't go unnoticed. It's a dramatic piece. It has a detailed design with applied bead and wirework on the center disk and an openwork foliate design on the side pieces. The necklace has a wearable length of 15 1/2" - a jeweller could easily make the chain a single strand to give more length if desired. The body of the necklace measures 6 1/2" wide and 5 1/4" high with the center disk having a diameter of 2 1/2". It is fully signed "Peruzzi Boston Sterling" and is in excellent condition - the center "dome" on the disk is pushed in a bit but this doesn't detract.
